Strandhill, Mullaghmore and Easkey beaches get some of the best wind and therefore some of the best waves in the Wild Atlantic Way. Strandhill is like its own little surf village – always busy and bustling with surfers and tourists.
A student focused town – Sligo welcomes a large number of international and domestic students each year. Many of the local business cater to students and offer generous student discounts. For example, you can get a student ticket for as little as €6 when you show your student ID card!
