Taking an Improvers language course at Foyle International will provide you with a basic knowledge of your chosen language by helping you develop the practical, communicative skills that you developed in the Beginners level.
This language course, which is delivered by experienced, native speakers, will help extend your range of vocabulary and develop your grammar awareness while preparing you to communicate effectively, and with increased confidence, on a range of topics relating to everyday situations.
The course is taught mainly through the target language and works on the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, with the main emphasis being placed on speaking, listening and having fun!
During class, you will take part in interactive language activities in a relaxed and supportive environment. Through pair and group work you will have chance to practise new vocabulary, grammar and functional language for everyday situations, under the guidance of your teacher.
In the final week, there is a review and consolidation of the material covered on the course as well as advice on how to take your studies further.
By the end of the Improvers language course, you should be able to understand and communicate using your new language in basic situations.
