Student Placement Officer

Working within our small but growing team you will liaise with small, medium and large employers to source suitable placements for international students in the Derry and Donegal area. Foyle International has clients all over the world and deals with a large number of students each year, mainly from European countries.

The role will require you to co-ordinate other programmes for international students involving employers, organizations, charities, agencies and training agencies.

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong communication skills, good organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment as part of a small team. This role requires someone who can work under pressure, who can problem-solve and has the ability to take initiative.

English Language Teachers – Summer 2024 

We are looking for expressions of interest from individual providers (teachers/trainers) who can deliver engaging English language lessons to teenagers and young adults in its British Council accredited summer school programme.

Summer School Activity Leaders – Summer 2024 

As an English Language Summer School Activity Leader, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging environment for international students. This role combines language learning, cultural enrichment, and recreational activities to ensure an immersive and enjoyable experience for our students.

Students will have English Language classes in the mornings and in the afternoons, evenings and weekends they will have a social programme for which we require Summer School Activity Leaders.

Our Activity Leaders will be outgoing, sociable and proactive people, who work hard to ensure that International Students from the ages of 13 to 17 yrs, are speaking English, experiencing local culture and are having a fun, yet safe time throughout their summer activity programme.

Summer School Senior Coordinator – Summer 2024 

We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Senior Coordinator to oversee the smooth running of the program. The Senior Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the program by managing staff, organizing activities, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

The programme itself is established but we would like someone who can also bring new ideas or improve existing activities.
